Adult Art Club (AAC) is our way of making creativity feel easy again. We started this because so many adults tell us the same thing: “I want to make things, but I don’t know where to start.” Life gets busy, materials feel intimidating, and suddenly creativity becomes something we keep postponing.
AAC is a relaxed, low-pressure creative space for adults to simply show up and make. It’s not a class and not a workshop. Think of it as an open studio where you can try different materials, work quietly, or create alongside others. No experience needed, no expectations, no pressure to be “good.”
If you’re looking for an art club for adults in Singapore that feels friendly, calm, and human—this is our invitation to start where you are. Just come as you are, and begin.
We meet once a month on Saturdays, 7–9pm. Visit our Eventbrite page to see the upcoming dates and sign up to join us.
Have you ever wondered whether it makes sense to hire a decluttering and organising service? You’re not alone! It’s a common question and the reasons for considering such a service are personal.
While there’s a wealth of information available about the benefits of these services, let’s focus on addressing some of the concerns that might be holding you back.
1. Is it worth the cost?
One of the first things people consider is the expense. It’s true that hiring an organising specialist can seem pricey. However, it’s important to think about the value of your time. How much time is wasted to find your items when you need them? How often do you feel overwhelmed by clutter?
A specialist can create a home that works for you, making it a worthwhile investment in your well-being. Each specialist has a unique approach, so it’s a good idea to research and find the right fit for you. If budget is a concern, ask if there’s flexible payment options.
2. Can I do it myself?
Of course! But life is busy, and good intentions often falter. A specialist offers more than physical help. They provide strategies, motivation, and support for creating change. Plus, they spot patterns of organising behaviours you might miss.
To add to that, let’s take a moment to consider what’s getting you stuck in getting started? While working through our clutter, it’s more than just physical tasks, but decisions and emotions. Mental fatigue and feeling overwhelmed are common reasons why people decide to seek professional help.
3. Should I just hire a cleaner?
Often, we confuse tidying with organising, but they are not the same thing! Cleaners keep items in place, organising goes a step further by developing a system. Items placed in wrong homes become troublesome to return, leading to missing items and visual clutter.
If clutter keeps reappearing despite your best tidying efforts, considering an organising specialist might be helpful. They can help to identify suitable homes for your items, taking into account your routines and habits.
4. Can I ask a friend to help?
Absolutely! Enlisting the help of a friend can be a great option. However, if you’re looking for more objectivity and expertise, an organising specalist may be the better choice. Navigating emotional attachments to belongings can be challenging, especially when working with those close to you.
5. Maybe I can live with the mess?
People feel comfortable with different level of clutter. That’s completely valid! For us, a home’s functionality is more important than aesthetics. However, consider how clutter affects your mood and well-being. If you find the mess is weighing you down, it might be time for a change.
6. What will my household members think?
If you share your home with others, it’s natural to wonder how they’ll react. They might be hesitant about professional help. We understand and will discuss your preferences, including introducing ourselves as a friend during our visit.
Importantly, we never touch or move other’s belongings without their explicit consent. This commitment to respect and professional ethics is fundamental to our approach.

7. What if the organising specialist judges me?
It’s completely normal to feel anxious about inviting someone into your home. The fear of judgement can be overwhelming, and you might worry about feeling inadequate or embarrassed.
Working with someone who understands the challenges of clutter can help. Our organising specialist is a member of the Institute for Challenging Disorganization and adheres to their code of ethics. We aim to support you wherever you are in your journey, without judgement.
Finding the Value in Decluttering and Organising Services
Ultimately, the decision to hire a decluttering and organising service depends on its importance to you. If clutter is a constant struggle, an organising specalist can provide guidance and support. It’s about creating a space that’s functional, while reflecting your values and making you feel good.
If you’re ready to reclaim your space and time, consider exploring the possibilities of professional organising. Start by connecting with organising specalists/ professional organisers in your area to learn about their approaches, fees, and ideas. Many offer free initial consultations.
You deserve a home that’s truly yours.
